Job Description
- Engineers with the problem-solving mentality and the ability to work in multiple Data Engineering areas
- Need to have an understanding of end-to-end IT lifecycle (analysis, design/architecture, coding, testing, and implementation).
- Responsible for the delivery of a business end-to-end need starting from understanding the requirements to deploying the software into production.
- Experience developing in an Agile development environment, and comfortable with Agile terminology and ceremonies
- Understands Modular Programming, CI/CD, and TDD/BDD principles
- Familiarity with code versioning using GIT and SCM practices (Branching, Feature Toggles, and Canary Releases)
- Develop modular code/data visualizations to meet user story acceptance criteria
- Write automated tests following TDD principles
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for automation and CI/CD
- Deploying and developing cloud applications end to end, and Architecting a pilot or POC effort to bring innovation to delivery
- Experience in programming languages and frameworks such as Java, Camel, Spring Boot, Reactive frameworks etc.
- Experience with RDBMS such as Oracle, MS-SQL server, etc. and Document DB such as MongoDB
- Experience with developing Web applications using Angular 2+
- Excellent communication skills
